Mission Statement:

To provide the opportunity for Arlington, Mansfield, and Grand Prairie area boys and girls between the ages of four and twelve to learn the fundamentals of Semi-Select Football and Competitive Cheerleading through participation in an organized and competitive program.

Objectives:

Establish a process of identifying, selecting and training volunteer coaches, assistants and others that are committed to achieving the Arlington Knights Sports Association’s mission statement and objectives, while serving as role models in their conduct.

Ensure all participants learn the fundamentals of competitive SEMI-SELECT football and cheerleading, as well as team play, in a manner that allows them to enjoy the game of football and cheerleading.

Our goal is to make sure that each participant receives the opportunity to maximize his or her individual potential through fair and equitable treatment. Semi-select football does not guarantee any amount of playing time on game day for any player. However, each head coach will make every effort to get each player in the game. All players must earn their position on the team.  

Provide equipment and facilities that are consistent with safe participation.

Create effective processes, which provide open communication with participants, parents and volunteers.

These goals will be achieved through organizing our dedicated volunteers, caring parents, and associated businesses who wish to partner with our great youth sport program.
